Repath's New Core Values: Fast, Bold, Actionable Culture
Discover how Repath rebuilt its core values to drive real impact: faster action, shared success, and sustainable performance for the climate tech future.
At Repath, a climate tech company helping organisations manage ESG compliance and climate risk, leadership recognised a critical gap: their original values were aspirational rather than operational. As the team expanded - especially remote teams - cultural anchors that translate ideals into daily behaviours became essential.
The company launched an “Actionable Values Initiative,” involving team-wide feedback to create four operational values that guide decision-making without requiring additional resources.
Why Values Matter
Research demonstrates that strong company values impact recruitment (77% of employees prioritise culture over salary), client loyalty, and investor confidence. If a value can’t be translated into day-to-day behaviour, it doesn’t help an early-stage startup.
The Four Actionable Values
Maximise Impact Fast
Act and iterate quickly rather than over-plan. Balance urgency with sustainability - maintaining a “sustainable high pace” without burnout culture.
Sustainable Performance
High performance through smart work, not excessive hours. Prioritise energy optimisation, team wellbeing, clear boundaries, and joy.
Own It, Win Together
Individual ownership paired with collaborative problem-solving. Define clear roles while celebrating shared success.
Learn, Grow and Adapt Constantly
Turn failures into learning fuel. Seek frequent feedback and pursue individual growth to elevate the entire team.
Implementation
These values inform hiring, product decisions, team rituals, and daily operations. As Repath scales, they function as both compass and engine, enabling fast action without compromising trust or sustainability.
